Computer Cartoon Kit
by Steve Marchant
In the early 1940s, Captain Marvel Junior artist Mac Raboy drew stock poses that were photocopied and reused by him and other artists working on the comic strip. Since then, many cartoonists have used collages in their work, but, in the wrong hands, this technique can leave comic-strips looking repetitive and dull; but with the advent of image–manipulation software, ”found„ images and stock poses can be used in a variety of ways, without the need for scissors and paste.
